FIRST LINE RESPONSE TECHNICIAN

Permanent Post, Full Time – 52 weeks

D Grade (£15,207-17,327) or E Grade (£15,941-£18,376) depending on experience/skills

 

We wish to appoint an outstanding IT Technician to join a skilled and enthusiastic team in maintaining and administering the School IT Systems. The post would suit an applicant with an interest and enthusiasm for development and innovation in IT.

The successful candidate will have good communication and problem-solving skills and provide first line helpdesk support to all customers, assisting them with hardware and software problems via phone, email or in person.

 

Grade E responsibilities include:

 

• Support creation of new user accounts
  
• Complete day-to-day phone user maintenance and creation
  
• Central installation of software for distribution around the network
  
• Day-to-day support in the maintenance of the servers and core systems of the network
  
• Responsible for regular monitoring of the synergy of AD, VLE and MIS
  
• Support maintenance of GPO and AD on a day-to-day basis
