I've got one user who defaults to the SIMS database defined in the [sIMSConnection] whichever school he chooses from the Multi drop-down menu.

If I change the default [sIMSConnection] he gets that SIMS database.

This also only occurs when using a particular workstation.

We've reset his profile on the RM Console and deleted the local profile on that workstation.

No-one else appears to have this issue.

Any ideas?Crayford-connect-ini.jpg

Definitely some sort of permissions issue. Sounds as though the user doesn't have access to modify the connect.ini file which i presume is on their C drive?

If that doesn't work, manually browse to C:Program Files\SIMS\ on the local machine and give the user(s) full modify permissions to the SIMS .net folder (there isn't anything within this folder that cant be easily fixed with the SIMSApplicationsetup.exe if the user does start messing etc).
