Copied hard drives now not seeing hard drive in laptop

Hi All,

 

I copied a hard drive using an Integral hard drive copy station,

 

I know I put the hard drives in the right places ie master and copy.

 

Both hard drives now do not get recognized when booting up in either laptops

 

I checked the Bios and the hard drives are seen in that. I got a third working hard drive and put it into both laptops and they are failing to still boot.

 

I put the third hard drive back in its laptop and now that does not boot.

 

The laptops are Toshiba Satellite Pro C850 - 1H8 EDIT all with Windows 7

 

 

Any ideas?

If the copier is plugged in via usb do the partitions show up in disc management ?

One laptop booted up fine this morning!!

 

Yet to try the other two.

both worked yesterday!

 

just turned them on and they booted up fine!

Nothing quite so strange as IT sometimes !! Good to hear they are now working.

Indeed! went through everything, the hard drives just would not boot in any laptop!

 

Reset the bios so that may have helped as that was the last thing I did.
