So i've been asked to look at deploying and locking down office 2013 for our site, some features i want to disable and hide.

We are a Google apps site (don't use 365/one/skydrive), but provide office as an option.

I have downloaded the latest ADMX files but it amazes me how much is missing from the gpos for office.

Some of the thing i want to do are;

  • Remove the featured templates from the "New" tab
  • I can set the default save locations for everything except Powerpoint & Access (eh?)
  • Remove the "share" option from the "File"
  • Remove the "Account" option from the "File"

regards

Anybody managed to change Publisher's 2013 "default working file location" to some where else. Like N:\ for example.

I've managed it for everything else (word, excel etc). when i click on "save as" or "Open" it goes to the users N:\ as default.

However...... i think microsoft forgot about publisher :(
