MrFrostmaul Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Hello, Does anyone have a script / information on how I can uninstall Office 2010 silently and remotely so we can start moving every computer to Office 2013 finally Any help would be nice, as have tried with the Windows one with /uninstall ProPlus /config but no luck Thanks
snagrat Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 2013 would just upgrade from 2010 do you don't need to remove it really.
computer_expert Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 You should be able to do this by using the office 2013 Office Customization Tool (assuming you have a VL version of office 2013). When I created a custom installer for office 2010 it gave me an option to remove all previous versions of office before it installed the newer version.
MrFrostmaul Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 I have tried that, but it seems like it don't want to uninstall previous versions of office most of the time. I will retry and look at it again.
Tall_Paul Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I've used the Office Customisation Tool to push 2013 over 2007 and, as part of the install, I removed 2007 so it works well.
MrFrostmaul Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 Thanks for the help, changed a setting on the customization tool and work good now, only problem I have is that SharePoint WorkSpace 2010 and Microsoft 2010 Tools are not being removed. Any help with getting rid of these?
