TechSupp Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Can anyone give me some suggestions and prices as to a network attached storage device with at least a 2Tb capacity (maybe mirrored for safety). Needs to be easy to set up and manage/maintain. Year ends coming up fast and need to sort out what I need to do with what money is left in the pot!
truebluesteve Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 I bought a 6TB Netgear ReadNAS and with the exception of a dodgy firmware update that was released, it has been very reliable. It cost around £800 I think although it could be a little more than that
newpersn Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 (edited) Gonna get slated for this. We got a 6tb (2x3tb) buffalo link station and it works well. (Raid 1) (We also have 2x terastation pro and normal terastation) these are around 7 year old (I think) and I've only had to replace 2 discs in the 4 years I been here.
