we have a problem with group policy, we are trying to get the update to filter down threw our OUs, any help with this will be gr8

we are trying to change our students to have permission to change IE7 settings so they can point to our BLOXX box which is taking over from our ISA server, we have applied the setting but they have not taken effect.. any help would be greatful

It's definately a User Config Setting applied to an OU containing Users not computers?

 

And there's definately not a setting on Computer Configuration that specifies 'Make settings per computer not per User'?

 

Are other settings applying ok?

 

Have you run GPMCs Group Policy Results utility?

yes we have ran the group policy results and it does contain the proxy changes, microsoft are sending us a hotfix for our server so hopefully this will work

Why dont you make the change yourself over a GPO rarther than letting the kids mess with the settings?
