TomHD Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 (edited) Hello All, I am wanting to uninstall our old mail server, running on VM - Server 2003 R2, but cannot due to IP conflicts. I cannot change the IP address of the VM from the vSphere Client and I cannot log onto the server because it is not connected to the domain (due to the IP conflict I guess?). I tried installing VM Tools but I don't think it succeeded because of the conflict again. The IP of the VM is .137 Looking at this in DHCP shows BAD_ADDRESS This address is already in use. Any help with this would be great if any more info is helpful just say Thanks, TomHD Edited January 22, 2015 by TomHD
penfold Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Log into the VSphere client and find the VM in question. Right click>then use the open console option which will allow you to login locally where you can then take a look at the IP it has got and manually change it if necessary.
