Hello All,

I am wanting to uninstall our old mail server, running on VM - Server 2003 R2, but cannot due to IP conflicts. I cannot change the IP address of the VM from the vSphere Client and I cannot log onto the server because it is not connected to the domain (due to the IP conflict I guess?). I tried installing VM Tools but I don't think it succeeded because of the conflict again.

The IP of the VM is .137 Looking at this in DHCP shows BAD_ADDRESS This address is already in use.

Any help with this would be great :) if any more info is helpful just say :)

Thanks, TomHD

Log into the VSphere client and find the VM in question. Right click>then use the open console option which will allow you to login locally where you can then take a look at the IP it has got and manually change it if necessary.
