enjay Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Other than the rather involved workaround proposed at Running SMART Notebook 11.4 on OS X Yosemite | LUKE ARMS, does anyone have a way of getting SMART Notebook 11.4 to run on Mac OS Yosemite? One of our teachers has upgraded, and now can only run the latest version, which the school isn't licensed to use.
ovek Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Nope it's not the software at fault but Apple for removing Ruby 1.8 from Yosemite for no good reason other than to break software compatibility. The work around is a kludge and I'm even surprised that even works but it does work... well for now.

Notebook crashes on start up although this time gives me a different error message to the previous one. Any tips to share? Much appreciated as this is driving me nuts at the moment! Thanks,
