EXA_Mark Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Hi, I'm happy to send you plenty of schools who you can contact if you'd like who've been using SurfProtect for a long time; however as irritabletech correctly said, we have just launched a brand new version of SurfProtect, and the last couple of days (and for some today/this week) will be the first time they have used it. You can find an overview guide to SP by going to http://www.exa.is/surfprotectguide and we are just putting the final touches to step by step guide videos, and overview demo. In answer to the AD question, yes SurfProtect does fully integrate into AD. If you'd like some schools to speak to just send me a PM and where you are based and the size of the school and I'll let you know where the nearest similar size schools to you so you can speak with those who are likely to be using in a similar way, or at least with a similar amount of people. If myself or the rest of the team can help more just let us know.
DJ-1701 Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Ooooo... I see Exa's hard at work ... I just got an e-mail stating an account has been setup for me on what appears to be a new Exa helpdesk. Looks interesting as it has the facillity for Knowledge Base, News, Feedback, Downloads and a Contact Us section. 1
Mr_Jiminy Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Can anyone chip in with their experiences thus far using Surf Protect v3?
DJ-1701 Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Can anyone chip in with their experiences thus far using Surf Protect v3? Anything in particular you wanted to know? For me it's been intuitive, haven't needed to refer the the manual and works quite nicely.
Mr_Jiminy Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Not specifically, really just gauging feedback in regards to the overhaul from v2.
DJ-1701 Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Not specifically, really just gauging feedback in regards to the overhaul from v2. Personally I think it's a great improvement the the previous version I was using. 1
EXA_Mark Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Not specifically, really just gauging feedback in regards to the overhaul from v2. Obviously my opinion may be a tad biased, but after some initial tweaks the new systems has a lot of new features and is more intuitive, plus we have a LOT of major new features coming very soon. Can't say more just yet, but keep an eye on our twitter feed @exaeducation over the next few weeks and definitely come and see us at BETT if you can. Can't miss us as we are right next to Microsoft on the middle strip.
