Quick question for those doing the Catholic census today.

They are asking for the number of pupils "Eligible for Free School Meals Ever 6" in section 9. I have run a report in SIMS that calculates this figure by returning the number of FSM students with an FSM History record that has an end date after 14th Jan 2009 or Null (so it picks up the ones where FSM end date was left blank by a primary school). However, the automatically populated field is returning 12 less students then my own calculations.

Does anyone know what the criteria is for the Ever 6 field in the CES census? Even taking the Null end dates into account I am still two students short. Is it also safe to Export the report I am using and post it here publicly without revealing too many details?

Hi,

If memory serves the CTF transfer before a few years ago never sent through the FSM data so you could be missing some of the data in The system anyway.

I think my plan for this field is to just manually set it to the number of students on my FSM section of the latest pupil premium list for my school as I feel this will be more accurate.

I have more students in my calculations then the census is reporting, so I could be returning more students then should. Need to check. The report is already excluding sixth form (I don't think they are valid?) so unsure where the other 12 kids are coming from. :(

Had a look at it but still can't recreate the filter used for this part of the census report. No idea what criteria I am supposed to be using to determine eligibility. :/
