Edit: RESOLVED just loaded it in Chrome and fount that the CMS is trying to put an image in at the top - HTML is fine.

 

Please could someone who's better at HTML than me (doesn't take much) tell me why there's a big gap above the table on this page on the school website?

It's a custom made CMS, but I'm assuming the problem is in the html for the content of that page as the text "This bit is at the top of the html - why the big gap below?" is at the top of the content entered for the page, and that's in the right place; I just can't see why the table insists on putting several lines of blank at the top.

Sorted now :) just a little reformatting needed and the top couple of rows of text taken out of the table. all we need now is an open source carey-sharey image to go in the (now obvious) image space and we're away!
