Kodu, Temporarily change speed of Kodu? Pages but without repeated code.

Hi,

Just trying to create a racing game in Kodu for a demo. Im trying to get it so that when the user hits a apple it slows them down.

 

I need to use pages to do this (Following a lesson plan downloaded by the teacher).

 

The videos i can find copy all the code from page one to page two including all the movement controls which seems very messy.

 

What i would like page two to have is just the command to slow Kodu down and then after 2 seconds it should speed up again.

 

Cant do it and its driving me nuts.

 

Any ideas?
