Linux to Hyper-V

Good morning all,

 

Im looking for a simple solution to what Im trying to achieve which is, convert my Physical running CentOS box to a Hyper-V Virtual host.

 

Does any one know of a simple way to carry this out ? - Seems that if I was migrating a Windows box itd be simple.

Could you boot Knoppix and make an ISO of your Centos machine with dd if=/dev/sda of=/dev/usb[or whatever]/image.iso

Then reverse the process with Knoppix on the VM?

Thanks all for the info, looks like I'll be able to use Acronis... image it and then build a new VM and restore the image, Was wondering if MS had a tool like Vmware does (Converter) seems they do but only works with Windows hosts,
