ICT Technician – Hampstead - @ £22K pro rata – urgent position

Leading group of independent schools in the Hampstead area requires an IT technician, competent at 1st and possibly 2nd line support, ideally within the education sector already, with a passion for IT and a burning desire to learn a multitude of current technologies. In this job you will be required to provide pro active and prompt support to all users within the main school and possibly the junior and middle school as required.

The technologies used by the school include Virtualised windows server 2008, 2012, VMware, exchange, sharepoint, IIS, windows 7, windows 8, ipads, laptops, wireless, dns, dhcp etc and as the IT engineer you will have the opportunity to learn on the job and with the support of a large stable team.

The school is looking for someone who can start within 4 weeks, can undertake a dbs/rcb check, can work within a rota system and get to Hampstead/Finchley area easily.

The school is one of the best in the country and the environment is open and allows employees to grow and develop their skills in a range of different technical areas.

The role will initially be for a 6 month contract which may go to permanent further down the line.
