samwells1234 Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Can anyone explain why I have got no sleep option available. I am logged as an administrator. I really don't understand why this has happened the computer has the same Group Policies as all the other Admin Computers in the school and they don't turn off in the evening either this is the only computer that is shutting down in the evening. Kind Regards
samwells1234 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 Just checked it all seems up to date :-/
samwells1234 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 Yeah sure have thats why im getting confused its picks up every other group policy but the PC is not staying on over night like all the others do because admin staff want to remote in on their PC's
computer_expert Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Check the bios/uefi settings - I know dells have an option to disable sleep in the bios/uefi that will cause windows to disable sleep mode (I think is called something along the lines of 'deep sleep')
samwells1234 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Posted January 9, 2015 This computer is a lenovo think centre M82 2929cj4. I have gone through the bios still nothing :-/
