Server Error in '/HAP' Application. Security Exception

Hey All,

 

I was wondering if you could help. I get the following error when trying to access HAP+ both internal and external.

 

 

The only thing that has recently changed is the server has had some updates. Could this be .net related?

 

Had no problems since i set this up back in January of last year.

 

Info: Running on IIS 8 on Windows Server 2012 R2. HAP+ Version 9.6.

 

Any suggestions welcome.

Hi Nick,

 

Thanks for this. It has fixed it. Strange how this suddenly changed.

 

I had read about the network service account which already had read permissions. I have now added the HAP application pool with read permissions and it its back up and running.

I believe we removed this requirement in v10.2

How do I add IIS AppPool\HAP into the permission list for the 'Security' folder?

 

I'm getting this error now, set up this morning and working fine
