Requirement - Monitor Stands

We are going through another speight of students breaking monitor stands. Mind you its a case of us buying cheap monitors (edge10) and the quality of the stands are shocking. Edge10 won't even admit to how bad the quality is... anyway, we have had a few replacement stands over the years and yet still to find a good value for money monitor stand.

 

The stand needs to be able to support a 17" 4:3 monitor. Im not fussed about height adjustable or the stand being able to swivel and are able to support the vesa mounts.

 

We cannot use the monitor arms that fix to the desk - these stands are like rocking horse muck.

 

Is anyone able to offer/recommend anything to me.
