We have some Smart Interactive Projectors installed and a couple of teachers have complained about the colours on the projected images. Yellows are coming out sort of pale green, reds are really dark, basically colours do not match those shown on the computer monitors. All the cabling is new, we have even changed out the cabling to see if it fixes the issue to no avail. Our installer is going to talk to Smart but I wondered if anyone knew if there was any setting that should be changed on the Smart 60wi for this?

I haven't had time to check all our Smart Projectors to see if the issue is universal but will do over the next day or so.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

my concern is that its' a DLP projector. I personally am still trying to find a decent one wheel DLP projector that can do proper colours. a few years back we had to replace a number of PRM-35 projectors as the colour they outputted was nothing like the image on screen. This was not classed as a fault by promethean and just how the projectors worked!

They've only been in for 3 months! I would hope they would last a little longer than that before they need cleaning of the colour wheel position sensor.

Would this be covered by warranty? If you can show that this is a consistent fault you may be able to negotiate extended warranty for this issue.

We have our installer speaking with Smart about the issue but haven't heard anything yet.
