ICT/AV Technician - Yorkshire - £15882 - £16998

ICT/AV Technician – 37 hours per week. This could either be full time, all year round or term time only.

GRADE G4 SCP 14-17 (£15882 - £16998)

 

We are looking for a technician to join an innovative and forward-thinking academy who has a minimum of 4 GCSE’s and who wants to develop their skills further and can fulfill all or some of the following criteria:

• Experience in installation, maintenance and repair of ICT equipment workstations, printers, IWB and projectors).

• Technical knowledge of ICT software (Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, Windows 7, MS Office, anti-virus) and who can identify and resolve ICT problems.

• Good team working skills but can work independently.

• Support the use of ICT/Computing in a classroom at a range of skill levels.

• Provide advice and support to ICT & classroom users across Academy & Partnership Schools & at Wakefield South East Training and Enterprise Centre.

• First and second line support including monitoring the ICT help desk.

• Manage bookable systems for resources including setting up ICT/AV equipment.

• Take responsibility for daily checks on ICT equipment.

• Is aware of licencing, security, e-safety and data protection issues.

• Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment.

• Familiarity with mobile devices such as iPads.

• Full UK driving licence.

Familiarity with PAT testing would be an advantage.
