Google Chrome Book Users - question about management console

A question for all you google chrome book users. Do you have the google management console? How many devices and how many licenses do you have?

I have management console with one device and one licence at the moment for testing.

It works well and I would like to go down Chromebook route but it is up to smt - we have a lot of ageing laptops that need replacing at some point.

Would be nice to get impero on chromebook if that is what you are looking at :-)

240 Devices, 240 licences - just yesterday setup our first 30 that have gone into a classroom!

Just research at moment. Also those who have chrome devices but no console licences. How many devices do you have?

Wouldn't not having any console licenses defeat the point of getting Chromebooks?

You can have a Chromebook and not have management console license (https://www.google.com/chrome/business/devices/features-management-console.html). But at the point but still have Chromebooks and use them but you can't manage the settings etc centrally .

Indeed you can, but then you won't have the ability to control some useful device settings (like the Release Channel, allow/disallow guest mode, erase all locally stored user data on sign out).

I know but sure some people opted not to and just wanted to get idea on numbers etc
