We never thought a video would be watched in numbers greater than a 32-bit integer (=2,147,483,647 views), but that was before we met PSY. "Gangnam Style" has been viewed so many times we have to upgrade!

even so, its quite a lot. If you make a video go viral, say posting on reddit, 9gag, 4chan, facebook (and maybe a handful of pages on there), you can earn yourself some serious cash. A guy at my work, uploaded a single video to youtube, posted it on all 4 sites, within 3 hours it had 21k views, and nearly 4k shares...fine $21 isn't much, but if you do it daily, it can be a nice supplement to income.
