I played this when it first came out and wasn't impressed. Played a bit last night and its improved a lot, but it doesn't match up with the full Anno games of old. My ingame tag is localzuk (as always).

So its, Civony all over again. A 'free' game which boomed for 6 months, and died in 2 months after that.

 

Wasn't it rated one of the worst games in 2013?

I haven't seen any timers so far, are they going to mystically appear after the intros over, or are there no real time build timers in this one?

There are timers - resource gathering is on timers, so goats milk and wood etc... they take fixed times to gather.
