[sims] SIMS Student 'history' - student removed from roll, then enrolled again

We had a student removed from roll, but suddenly it was decided they would stay at the school. The admin team re-enrolled her in the way they know how, but now the student history shows two separate lines for everything. What is the correct way to somehow join these lines without losing student data? I cannot edit the end data of the first line, presumably because the second line is in the way. I have never edited student history before but I can see the potential for a disaster! Any tips gladly accepted!

In that scenario i would have removed the leaving date. It sounds like they left the leaving history and then put them back in as a returner. Or worse still added another entry for them, but hopefully not.

If you're talking about the orange bars of membership, check what the start date is, maybe they are down as leaving on friday and joining on monday, and the weekend will be greyed out and never meet. Double-clicking should let you edit date periods and pull back the second line earlier, but no earlier than the start date, if that makes sense.
