Quackers Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I take it there is no way to get above this with encryption turned on? Keep hitting the 100 mark on 1 AP, its dual channel, so was hoping it would be 100 per radio but does not seem that way. Just want to check there is nothing i can do to get the AP to stop refusing more clients when it hits 100?
synaesthesia Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 It's 50 clients per radio, a hardware limitation, so no way around it. 1
Haptic Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) You can increase max client load per radio within certain restrictions based on the AP model; Which model is this? If you go to Configure-> Access Points-> select the relevant AP group (if you haven't set any then select default) and set the "Model Specific Control" to the AP model you have within the group, this should then allow you to increase it over the 100 client limit. Also under Configure-> WLANs-> select the relevant SSID and select advanced options, you will then see an option "Max Clients" you can then adjust this as well. to increase max load. One other thing- which encryption method are you using? Any problems drop me a line and i'll guide you through it. Mark [email protected] Edited November 27, 2014 by Haptic
