Software for Registration

Hi all,

 

Im not sure if this post is in the right area so apologies just in case

 

we currently use SIMS.net but we have recently started a breakfast club and an after school club. Im looking for software (ideally free as we have no money) that would allow an electronic register to be taken rather than with paper. In my previous school we used Schools Cash Office with the extended day module, and something of a similar nature would be fantastic.

 

It doesnt need to communicate with SIMS.

 

Any advice appreciated.

Jokes aside, what do you want it to do? Because really a register is just a list, maybe using Google apps spreadsheet would get the job done. In the cloud accessible by many on many devices. You can make it do what you want too with very simple tweaking.

you could use alternative curriculum and set a before school session.

 

setting the register can be fiddly, but we use it for inclusion and a few before school music lessons

Or worst case to replace a spreadsheet with something SIMS-sy use a marksheet, if you have the assessment suite licenced.
