Looking at the W7 shutdown command, it says :

/t xxx Set the time-out period before shutdown to xxx seconds.

The valid range is 0-315360000 (10 years), with a default of 30.

 

I've issued a shutdown for 10 years time and I'll report back to the panel on the success or fail in due course :D

 

Seriously, did the M$ bods really think about the max value? I guess they did, but it does seem excessive.
