bossman Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Hi all, Scenario: We have a teacher from another school coming in to teach some of our students photography as part of a curriculum course, they have asked for version 11 to be installed in one of the IT suites as this is what they have in their school. To accommodate this member of staff I have purchased version 11 software from one of our suppliers but purchased the licensing through our EES licensing supplier. Problem: The licensing is not backwards compatible only to the last version, as Adobe Photoshop Elements is now version 13 I am being told that we can only install version 12 which is the one down. Surely I can install an older version and request that license key for that version can I not (As we are the customer and we have purchased it) or am I totally wrong here. I just wanted the teacher to be comfortable using the version they use at their own school. Hopefully someone else has been down this route with Adobe and wouldn't mind shedding some light on the situation please? Thanks in advance
win Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I tried to source some old adobe software as well but was told by various suppliers that they only stock the latest. Adobe don't provide the resellers with old licenses so it would have to be ebay (if you find a trusted seller). Should be easy to find with just 1 license, but as i was looking for several licenses it was virtually impossible. 1
timbo343 Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Is there nothing on ebay? Sometimes people sell old software with keys on there... thats if you are allowed to buy from ebay. 1
