Office 365 ProPlus – free student eligibility for US , Faculty and Staff benefits available December 1st Worldwide

 

New Self Sign-Up for Students – Office ProPlus – US only

Beginning September 22, 2014, students eligible for free Office 365 ProPlus from their school can now take advantage of a new self-service sign up process that will allow them easier access to the Office 365 services, including a terabyte of storage with OneDrive for business and Office 365 ProPlus. To check their eligibility of the ProPlus benefit, students can go to Office in education and enter a school-provided email address. Worldwide availability will be later in the year. Office 365 ProPlus Benefit Available for Faculty and Staff

 

In addition, Microsoft is announcing that faculty and staff can access the same Office 365 ProPlus benefit as students. This means that any organization purchasing Office for 100% of their faculty and staff can now include an Office 365 ProPlus subscription at no extra cost for all students, faculty and staff. Worldwide availability is planned for December 1, 2014.
