timbo343 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 We have been going around all the projectors at our place with a light meter and measuring the lux and getting the lumens by calculating the M2 of the area of the projected image. The majority of our projected images are about 1.3m x 1.1m. The lux of a few of our projectors which i want to replace is 80, 70, 97, 105, 84. Transfering these values to Lumens is 77, 93, 148, 165, 180. I am asking what the projected lumens should be. Bear in mind that some of our newer projectors are: Lux - Lumens 650 - 1023 970 - 1170 690 - 1242 Obviously the higher the lumens that a projector states the better the image but ive been asked to do an audit on our projectors and i would like a minimum of what the projected lumens should be. Can anyone help? Thanks
