Moodle and ShowMyHomework

I had a "discussion" with one of our Deputy Heads regarding ShowMyHomework (SMH) and Moodle.

 

Moodle is setup for classes etc, however the comments are that SMH is polished, allows parental access and allows an overview for HODs\management for homework and grades. Apart from what I can see, it is the same as Moodle's assignment module

 

I would rather they used what is already setup however parental access and the assignment overview is eluding me.

 

Is this something I can setup easily or even pay for someone to setup?

When we had moodle we used http://www.zilink.co.uk, does what you want and more for probably the same price if not cheaper
