Assistant ICT Network Manager

 

Salary Grade G £17,137 to £21,734 (52 paid weeks)

Permanent Post

 

Torpoint Community College is looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant ICT Network Manager who can quickly integrate into the ICT Team, who has a ‘can do’ attitude and positive view of change, and who can drive our system forward with the ICT Manager.

 

Ideally you will have a strong technical and skills base, experience in disaster recovery, managing and supporting Windows desktop and server systems (Windows 7 and Server 2008) and managed network environments. You will also have working knowledge of wireless technologies (including implementation of Bring Your Own Device systems), IT security and current web technologies - you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the College website. You will be conversant with the latest Display Screen Equipment (DSE) regulations and lead with the College’s DSE assessments and record keeping. Previous knowledge and experience of an E-Safety role is also desirable.

 

This is a great opportunity for a skilled ICT professional to make a positive impact on the College’s ICT provision, and to enhance teaching and learning through the use of ICT in the College. Experience of working within the education sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
