Access to SMB share on apple journaled drive

Hi does any one know its its possible to map a drive with HAP which is shared from a mac? it is a SMB share but the drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) it maps well internally on the windows computers, but when accessed through HAP the share wont open. The other window based shares are ok on HAP.
