Internet Explorer 9/10/11 Download Problem

I hope someone might have come across this.

 

Basically i customized a default profile on our machines , it works fine except the following !

 

If i update Internet Explorer to 9/10 or 11 I can no longer download any files that use the download manager that comes with IE 9/10/11

 

The yellow download bar pops up but none of the buttons work .

 

I also cant use CTRL+J to open View downloads ( i also cant open it from the tools menu ).

 

Its 100% something in the profile , as i have used a roaming profile created with a non modified default profile and it works fine on all the machines

.

 

I have tried comparing the registry hive and removed some of the bits , but it still does not work . I have also tried using process monitor to see whats happening , but cant seem to see anything

 

We are currently still using IE8 and Google Chrome as these are not affected by the same problem .

 

Has any one else had this and have been able to fix it without redoing everyones profiles !

Actually scrap that , IE9 actually works .. I assumed it would be like 10/11 because of the use of the same download manager . But seems good ?

All this time hunting through the registry , seems like theres something a tad corrupt in Appdata\roaming\Microsoft

 

Copied the contents from a working profile and its fixed
