I'm trying to move an old installation of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manage console from an aging server in a primary school to their new server - its an old version (11.0.6) so ideally the migration would be and upgrade as well.

Problem is, the serial number they have is classed as invalid by symantec - so I can't download 11.0.6 or 12+ to install on the new server for migration. I can't find any original installation media either (probably installed by the LEA who used to support them)

Symantec are to keep it polite as I just get standard email responses telling me how to migrate, completely ignoring the actual issue I have!

Is there any way you can extract/find the serial number of SEPM so I can redownload it? Its a last resort I know, but otherwise we'll have to pay - the only good thing about that is that we could ditch the crappy symantec AV package!
