SIMS install on different domain

Hey guys,

 

I am trying to install SIMS via SOLUS3 onto a different domain on our network. I can deploy the SOLUS3 agent to remote computers using the "different domain" option, but it doesn't then install SIMS after. The agent says "There are no capita SIMS products to be installed" despite SIMS being the target on SOLUS3. The firewall is off, and there is a trust relationship between the 2 domains. Any ideas?

Have you defined them as SIMS workstations in SOLUS3?

Indeed i have. Target is set to "SIMS Workstation"

You've deployed at least one SIMS release via SOLUS3 ?

Yes. The server is in Domain A, and all PC's in Domain A i can deploy to, it's just any PC's in Domain B.

So PC's in domain B have SOLUS3 installed, they are online in SOLUS3 (on domain A). So the server (in domain A) can resolve the PC's in domain B?

 

Uh. Be worth logging with Capita\LA and getting the Capita bod to remote in and have a look in that case. Be interested to find out what it is.
