jamesfed Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 A little while back I posed a question on how to transform data using PowerShell/some other scripting method with the end goal of using it to automate the enrolment of students and teachers onto classes in Moodle. The link below is the end result from that question which uses CommandReporter.exe in SIMS, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services and Active Directory to get the right people in the right courses with no issues. Hope this helps some people out there! Moodle and Capita SIMS – Database enrolment (a short how to) | my world of IT 2
jamesfed Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 The hope is next year that I'll be able to use the IMS Enterprise enrolment method to mix in the class groups (save having a single course for each class!) would love to hear from anyone who has already done this
IrritableTech Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Looks like a smooth solution and a decent set of instructions. Should help many. Thank you and well done. 1
