dhicks Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 What posters do people have in their ICT suites / offices / corridors / etc? Our ICT suite has some rather out-of-date posters on "How the Internet works!", and that's about it. We could do with some nice, professionally produced, cheap posters on subjects that are actually useful. In particular, Tom Newton's thread about passwords got me thinking - I could do with a poster on "How to Choose a Secure Password", for a start. Does anyone know of a good source for decent educational posters, or is there a bit of a gap in the market here? -- David Hicks
gwendes Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 A lot of companies offer free posters with advertising in the corner - sorry I don't know of a central source - could try emailing a few...
TechMonkey Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Some cracking posters here! For more of that go to dispair.com. We keep swearing we will get some for our office but never quite get around to it. In our office though we have Network info, school info (term dates, rotas, tutor info etc), network and internet rules, one huge poster of the Atlas Detector the NM found, WIFI eats babies printout, Map of online communities in the stlee of middle earth from XKCD and the usual first aid/fire posters. Added bonus I have my papercraft PAL9000, optical illusion dragon and USB missile launcher (with added random viking warrior guarding it) on the shelf above my head to amuse the kids while they wait.
