Chrome - Printer Settings not having any effect

Got a problem with our new MFDs (Kyocera 3551ci) and Chrome

Basically if a user selects colour / double sided etc options using the Chrome print options they have zero effect. If they change them via the system print options they obviously do have effect, but try explaining that to a user when they can see the easy Chrome print options!

Any ideas?

We have the same problem here with our RISO ComColor printer.

The issue also occurs in Windows 8 Modern UI apps, such as the default Win8 Reader.

We've also had problems with issues getting things from Google Apps to print to the RISO using Chrome.

No idea how to fix, so would also be interested in any ideas.

Right a new problem in that someone uses this Google print options window to select 'A3' and it then retains this setting, so they go to print an A4 document and it comes out on A3 as they've forgotten to change the setting back! (And the actual driver properties show the paper size setting as A4).

Is there any way via policy just to disable Google's printing rubbish and force the user to just use the actual printer driver to change their settings...you know like MOST OTHER APPLICATIONS?!
