timbo343 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) I thought i would just share my problems with chrome v37 and exchange 2010 owa. We have noticed that v37 of chrome breaks a few features of exchange 2010 owa to the point where they dont work making chrome not usable for owa access. After a quick google to see what the problem was ive found this..Sitecore Modal Pop-ups are not working in Chrome | World of Dot Net and Sitecore and https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/4fns56FokxY which looks like google are pulling from their browser. Just wondered if anyone else was having the same problem as me. Edited October 14, 2014 by timbo343
Arthur Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Just wondered if anyone else was having the same problem as me. There were a few in this thread... www.edugeek.net/forums/general-chat/142822-google-chrome-ending-support-modal-pop-ups-outlook-web-app.html
JRowley Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Effectively everyone using the latest chrome and OWA are effected. It also effects a one or two administrative areas of O365. There's not a lot that can be done from an external point of view, internally you can use an updated GPO from Google to force modals back on, and in the long term Microsoft/Other will be forced to release fixes where they feel its appropriate. Not pleased, to be honest.
timbo343 Posted September 8, 2015 Author Posted September 8, 2015 Just to dig up an old thread, but i have just realised that chrome v45 now works with exchange OWA 2010 as it should
