Hi,

 

We've just purchased 50 iPads that are to be used by our Media and Sixth Form students.

What's the best way I should start with configuring and locking them down.

 

We have Mac Servers and are able to use Apple Configurator or should we just use Meraki? - Or a combination of both?

Should I apply for a VPP account first?

Does anyone have a plan of action that they do when they get a new iPad?

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If you have Mac Servers already turn on Profile Manager in Server as this has options for setting iOS options.

Hey there,

 

We are planning our deployment at the moment.

 

This is how we are doing it:

 

Charge/Sync Troller connected to Mac Mini - using Mac Configurator to apply profile and restriction policies , and individual Apple IDs assigned to each iPad with Apple VPP to distribute apps.
