Iain.Faulkner Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Afternoon all, I'm doing a first time installation of HAP (mainly to look at helpdesk and booking options). I've built a new virtual server running Windows Server 2012 R2 and have followed the setup instructions as per the video entitled "HAP+ Windows Server 2012 Setup" (so I've made changes to IIS and the webconfig file as instructed). I'm now trying to browse to the site in order to run the setup/installation but I get the following error (see screenshot). Any suggestions?

Iain.Faulkner Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 Hi Nick, Thanks for coming back to me again. There are no updates available for the server (I've given it a restart though just in case). Logged back on and it's still the same :-(
nickbro Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 The error is a generic AD error, I don't know how to fix that one, usually a server restart fixes it. 1
JonZaman Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Have you tried to edit the hapconfig.xml file delete the AD credentials from there and set 'FirstRun=True' Before editing anything make sure to take a copy of the file you edit this will save you a lot of time if it breaks. If the above doesn't work, I would delete the hapconfig.xml and restart the server. 1
