PDA to PDA communication - Voice calling

Is there anyway using our existing wireless network and iPaq handhelds we could get PDA to PDA calling going over some sort of VoIP using Skype or something?

 

This is only for internal communication and not for making external calls - anyone any ideas?

Should be straight forward, I downloaded and installed Skype for my Ipaq, (downloaded from skype.com through IPAQ), Ipaq configured to work on wireless, and it works great through the speaker and mic.
