[mdt] DNS change causing errors

Hello,

 

Currently using MDT 2012 to image on a separate server, never had any problems before. Recently i had a domain controller which acts as a file server demoted as it was a 2003 machine and wanted to raise the domain to 2008. however this server also acted as a DNS and DHCP, something that i have another Server acting as now, this server replicates from the primary.

 

however, when i try to image a computer it is coming up with an error. the error states that it can reach the deployment share but i have invalid credentials.

 

I have tried:

 

-rebuilding the lite touch file

-changing the bootstrap.ini to the ip address of the server

 

I never set MDT up, is there a option somewhere that specifies the DNS server to use?
