We are currently recruiting for an ICT Technician to fill a new full-time position, based at Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey in Kent. The Oasis ICT department services our Academies nationwide, providing staff, pupil and external customers support for all aspects of an IT infrastructure, including Networking, Server, Desktop & Laptop Hardware (Tier 1 Products) and Software. This essential role will be part of a Service Desk within the ICT Services Department, a sociable, hardworking and friendly team. As part of this team of ICT professionals you will provide1st Line hardware and software support, incident management, call logging, administering asset management and general IT administration and other IT facility services. The successful applicant will: be enthusiastic and customer focused have excellent communication skills be pro-active and keen to learn have a basic understanding of Microsoft technology, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP possess a good understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting hardware problems.
