JBE Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 We currently have a VLE built in SharePoint. All of the school main calendars are managed and updated using SharePoint. We are looking to export some of these calendars to .ics feeds. However, SharePoint does not natively support this and uses RSS feeds which is no good for us. There is an option to connect a SharePoint Calendar to Outlook and I was hoping that you might be able to use this to publish it online as an .ics feed. The option in Outlook becomes greyed out when the SharePoint calendar is selected. I suspect the reason is because the SharePoint Calendar is not hitting Outlook as an .ics feed. I have also looked at doing it the other way round and using Calendar overlays in SharePoint. However, it only works for the user that is logged on at the time, everyone needs to see the School Calendar. Apart from investing in some SharePoint Development. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can achieve a solution? Thanks.
