Bankesy Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) Hello Does anybody know if it is possible to accept and invite to a calendar which is not linked to the inbox of which the invite was sent? For example our Head's PA can see her own inbox\calendar and that of the Head's. Sometimes a meeting request\invite will be sent to the PA inbox but is actually for the Head, is there a way the PA can accept it but assign to the Head's calendar? Any help or advice on this will be appreciated. Sorry forgot to mention I'm talking about Outlook 2010 here. Edited September 26, 2014 by Bankesy
Jasonblake Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 This can be done via delegate access. Delegate access let you accept and send invites on behalf of someone else. For that the other person needs to provide you delegate permissions. You can grant a delegate permission to read items in your folders or to read, create, change, and delete items. By default, when you add a delegate, the delegate has full access to your Calendar and Tasks folders. The delegate can also respond to meeting requests on your behalf.
