Hello everyone, I hope you've all had a good summer.

 

 

We've been busy this summer working on a new version of our server product for Microsoft Exchange, which we are aiming to release early 2015. This new product will reduce email storage by replacing large PDF, Microsoft Office, JPEG and TIFF file attachments with smaller optimized versions. Once connected it will automatically find and optimize all supported attachments, reclaiming wasted capacity, slowing storage growth and extending server life.

 

 

Like for our server product, we have built a quick scanning and reporting utility first to enable customers to see what kind of storage reduction could be achieved, and for us to get a better understanding of the landscape while building the full product. The scan is completely read-only, so it will not change any files.

 

 

If you use Microsoft Exchange, and you are interested in reducing your email storage we'd love your help both by running our scanning tool, and sharing your thoughts/questions about what you'd like to see in the finished product.
