Office 365 pro plus staff?

Can staff and student get an office 365 pro plus licence or is it for student only? We are EES licensed for staff already. Edited September 9, 2014 by nicholab

No, they will have to use the Home User Program. They will have to pay 8.95 for office pro plus. The HUP isn't part of office 365.

So how do you licence office for IPAD?

Well it works if thats what your asking Students can use Office for ipad with a pro plus license.

 

But yes its designed for students only

If you sign up to the A3 agreement for Office 365 for faculty then you get Office pro plus for your Staff and they also get the ability to use the iPad apps. Of course you have to pay for this, and it's not especially cheap, however the Apps are a godsend really and Staff really appreciate the ability to use office at Home. We've just announced this and I got a floury of e-mails back saying how people had just gone and shelled out on Office over the holidays and why couldn't I have told them sooner - can never win can you. I guess it depends how much of a commitment your school has to its staff to invest in some licensing for them.

It works superb on an iPad and now with one note working for one drive business, office is a great tool to use

•Office 365 ProPlus (for students)

The downside is you cant use it for staff.

 

The price to jump to A3 is outragous for simple staff Ipad app access. Especially as we are already paying for EES licensing

We buy A3 plans for all our Teachers and put the rest on A2. 80 licenses cost us about £1100 a year which I think is quite reasonable in the big picture of things and considering what else you actually get for free.

Still seems a lot to me, Thats £13.75 per teacher per year to use the iPad Office Apps.

i have A3 for staff as well, around 120.
